Biographie

Kelly E. Dunn, Ph.D., MBA is a Professor in the Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and founder of the Maryland Opioid Research (MOR) team located within the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Motivated by her experiences growing up in rural America, Dr. Dunn has worked to identify mechanisms and treatments for opioid use disorder treatment and withdrawal mitigation since 2005 and has served as the Principal Investigator on grants totaling more than $20 million from the National Institute on Drug Abuse and Cure Addiction Now program. Dr. Dunn currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Experimental and Clinical Psychopharmacology (ECP), co-editor of the Journal of Addiction Medicine, and President-elect for the College on the Problems of Drug Dependence. She is also the editor of the forthcoming Oxford Handbook of Opioids and Opioid Use Disorder (to be released in June 2024).
