Born and raised in the United States, Lisa Blecha emigrated to France where she began her medical training in 1990 at Paris XII University, continuing at Poitiers University and finally at Pierre and Marie Curie University. She completed her medical residency in the CERTA upon its founding in 2003 and in the Internal Medicine Department. She became a full practitioner with the CERTA in 2012. Lisa works in close collaboration with the Hepatology Centre in the evaluation and follow-up of transplant and addictology patients. She has a wide variety of scientific interests including multi-morbid patient management, polyaddictions and brief psychotherapies (Interpersonal Therapies and Cognitive Based Mindfulness Therapies). She is also a meditator, a bibliophage and a melomaniac.
