Biographie

Dr. Marianne Schulze, LL.M., human rights expert, studied law at the University of Vienna, Austria, the University of Sydney, Australia and – as a Fulbright scholar – at the University of Notre Dame, USA.
Her Handbook “Understanding the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities,” which is also available in French (https://www.internationaldisabilityalliance.org/sites/default/files/documents/comprendrelacdph.pdf) was published by Handicap International (now: Humanity & Inclusion). She is a strong advocate for the implementation of human rights in psychiatry, also as a board member of the Global Initiative on Psychiatry (https://www.gip-global.org).
